Earquake!

Educational Concert Series
Monday, February 6, 2012 at 10 A.M. and 12:30 P.M.
Arkansas Best Corporation Performing Arts Center

Great music, instrument demonstrations, video projection, study guides and audience participation make Earquake! a one-of-a-kind educational experience for 3,000 elementary school students in the Greater Fort Smith Region.

This season’s Earquake! performances will include new and challenging pieces as well as music the students will readily recognize. Exciting performances by cellist Angelika Machnik-Jones and the Western Arkansas Ballet will delight the young audience. A new composition, Alchemy, written specifically for these concerts will be presented by 12 year old composer Max Shuhan, who will also interact with the audience. Participating schools only.
