“The History of Roll and Roll” will be a unique, energizing presentation of rock and roll styles from its beginnings to the current trends. Featuring the Fort Smith Symphony, Don and Terri Bailey, Gary Hutchison, Shane Bailey, UA Fort Smith Jazz Katz, UA Fort Smith Jazz Band members, UA Fort Smith Chorale, Rager Moore II, David Carter, Ryan Gardner, Katherine White, Edward White, Alexandra Zacharella and many more, this Symphony concert will be like no other concert anywhere! You will hear Symphony Rock, 50’s Rock, Surf Music, the British Invasion, Pop Rock, Blues Rock, Folk Rock, Progressive Rock and more.

All compositions are newly composed for the concert by Fort Smith’s own Don Bailey. The concert features narration, lights and rock staging. This will be a HUGE celebration of Rock and Roll for young and old and a large scale collaboration between the Fort Smith Symphony and the University of Arkansas Fort Smith. No matter your musical tastes, you will really enjoy this first concert of its kind ever created for Symphony orchestra.
