Individual Giving

The success of the Fort Smith Symphony relies on the generous contributions of individuals like you. Ticket sales account for less than 25 percent of the orchestra’s operating budget, and the Symphony is committed to maintaining affordable ticket prices to assure that everyone may attend our programs. Please consider a tax-deductible contribution to the Symphony and play your part to bring outstanding orchestral programming to the Greater Fort Smith Region and beyond.


Chair Sponsorship: $1,500

Sponsor an actual musician in the Fort Smith Symphony and significantly contribute to the artistic excellence of the orchestra! This sponsorship assures talented musicians in the ensemble and outstanding concert events each season. Chair Sponsors receive prominent recognition in every Symphony concert program, enjoy private receptions held at concert intermissions and dine with the musicians of the orchestra at the annual Chair Sponsorship Event.


Conductor’s Circle: $1,000

The Conductor’s Circle is a group of distinguished Symphony sponsors dedicated to upholding the artistic integrity and continued success of the Fort Smith Symphony. Conductor Circle members enjoy distinct recognition in every Symphony concert program and enjoy private receptions held at concert intermissions.


Other Contribution Levels

  • Benefactor: $500 and up
  • Sustainer: $250 and up
  • Supporter: $100 and up
  • Contributor: $50 and up
  • Friend: $25 and up

Request the Fort Smith Symphony’s 2005 Naxos CD recording as a free gift and attend the annual Donor Appreciation Party with a donation of $100 or more!


Matching Gifts

Many employers offer matching gifts to employees who contribute to charitable causes. Please ask your employer about matching gift opportunities offered at your place of work.


Gifts of Stock

Estate and Planned Giving

Planned gifts to the Fort Smith Symphony’s Endowment Fund truly stand the test of time. Endowment contributions are set aside and invested, with a portion of the income used to support the Symphony’s operations each year. Remembering the Symphony through a bequest in your will or with a trust or annuity will assure an unparalleled musical experience for generations to come.
