Fort Smith Symphony String Quartet

Educational Concert Series | October 31 – November 4, 2011 &
November 28 – December 2, 2011

Symphony in the Schools is a two-week touring event that introduces students in more than 40 public and private schools across the Greater Fort Smith Region to the sights, sounds and excitement of the orchestra with musical demonstrations by the Fort Smith Symphony String Quartet.

This exciting program presents live chamber music to students in the classroom setting, to hear classical works, learn about famous composers and explore the string instruments of the orchestra. It’s up-close, in person and at YOUR school, to share the joys and benefits of music for young people and encourage student participation in the Arts!
