The Rite Stuff

Concert 1 | Saturday, October 1, 2011 at 7:30 P.M.
Arkansas Best Corporation Performing Arts Center

Join us for our most amazing season opener in the Symphony’s history! Stravinsky’s The Rite of Spring is the single most influential musical work of the Twentieth Century. Composed in 1913, it remains one of the all-time great pieces for symphony orchestra. It is an epic work full of primal rhythms, colorful sounds and unbridled power.

Additionally, one of the greatest concertos for any solo instrument will be performed featuring violinist Caroline Goulding. Ms. Goulding is one of the most prominent rising stars on the concert stage today. The concert will be a very special opportunity to hear these works performed live. Mark your calendars so you don’t miss this wonderful musical event!
